About Us
SDMC was brainstormed by Kevin Goodman who was looking for ideas to apply towards a business plan, for his academic program’s capstone project. A sketch for this plan was conceived and then expanded. The premise was to apply principals of influence in strategic campaigns designed to create visibility and public awareness. The original model was based on the conventional ad agency but this model quickly became inaccurate.
We knew very early that we wanted to represent and promote individuals – especially artist. But we also believed our processes would be effective across the spectrum of organizational entities. Are we a publicist, an artist agent, PR or advertising agency? The answer was actually simple once we moved beyond the templates of marketing communication businesses – we are Visibility Management™. Our emphasis is ultimately in planning and strategy and in that capacity we are a hybrid to all the above, filling the role as the need presents. SDMC is currently a closed door business, meaning, we select our clients and work for them on a commission or volunteer oriented basis. This will eventually change as we turn theory into evidence.
